1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. Click on File
3. Clock on Account Settings > Account Settings
4. Select New
5. Click on Advanced Options and ensure that ‘Let me set up my account manually‘ is enabled
6. Select either IMAP or POP depending on your requirements.
7. Complete the details as follows:
Replace mail.domainname with your Domain Name
IMAP: 143
POP: 110
Outgoing Port: 587
8. Click Next – wait for Outlook to Request the Password of the Email Account
9. Click OK – the email account will now be set up.
1.) Open the Gmail App
2.) Select the circular Icon to the top right-hand corner
3.) Click “Add Another Account”
4.) On the “Set up Email” screen choose “Other”
5.) Enter your email address and click “Manual Setup”
6.) Choose account type as “IMAP”
7.) Enter your password and click “Next”
8.) Replicate the following under Incoming server settings
Username: you@yourdomainhere.co.za
Password: *******
Server: mail.yourdomainhere.co.za
Now select “Next”
9.) On the Outgoing server settings, mimic the following:
Require sign-in: Enabled
Username: you@yourdomainhere.co.za
Password: *******
Server: mail.yourdomainhere.co.za
10.) Lastly, on the “Accounts options” screen, select “Next” to complete setup.
1.) Tap "Settings" app
2.) Tap "Accounts & Passwords"
3.) Tap "Add Account..."
4.) Tap "Other" (bottom option)
5.) Tap "Add Mail Account"
6.) Enter Name, address: name@yourdomain.co.za
and password for the mail box.
(iPhone will attempt to guess your settings. Allow ~1 minute for it to fail.)
7.) Select IMAP. (It's the default. The option you've selected will be highlighted blue.)
Under "Incoming mail server"
Set "hostname" to mail.yourdomain.co.za
Set "username" to name@yourdomain.co.za
Set "password" to your password for the mail box.
8.) Under "Outgoing mail server"
Set "Host name" to mail.yourdomain.co.za
Set "User name" to name@yourdomain.co.za
Set password for the mail box.
9.) Under you Outgoing (SMTP) Advanced tab:
- Slide SSL button On
- Ensure that you have 465 as your Outgoing port
10. Tap Done
Set up your email address on Android - Samsung, Huawei, Google Pixel et cetera.
1. Open your email application.
2. Press Menu and tap Add account.
3. Select Others
4. Type your Email address and Password, and click Sign In
5. Select IMAP
6. Use the following settings for your Incoming server
Username: Enter your full email address: name@yourdomain.co.za
Password: Enter your email account password.
IMAP server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
Port 993
Security type: SSL/TLS
Tap Next
7. Use the following settings for your Outgoing server:
SMTP (Outgoing Mail Server)
SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
Port: 465
Security type: SSL/TLS
* Select Require Sign-in
Username: Enter your full email address - name@yourdomain.co.za
Password: Enter your email account password.
Tap Next again
8. Tap Next again. Name your account and enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages and set sync frequency to your preference.
9. Tap Done.
1.) Open the Outlook App
2.) Enter your “Email Address” and select “Continue”
3.) Under “Choose account type” select “IMAP”
4.) On the new tab “Connect IMAP”
Enter your password and then select “Advanced Settings”
5.) Replicate the following settings on Incoming and Outgoing server settings under “Advanced settings”
Incoming:
IMAP Host: mail.yourdomainhere.co.za
IMAP Username: your@yourdomainhere.co.za
IMAP Password: ********
Outgoing:
SMTP Host: mail.yourdomainhere.co.za
SMTP Username: your@yourdomainhere.co.za
SMTP Password: ********
6.) Now click on the “tick” icon to complete setup
- Open the Mail App in OSX
- Select Mail > Preferences
- Click on the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen to add a new mailbox
- On the "Choose a mail account to add..." screen please select "Add other Mail Account..."
- On the "Add a Mail Account" page enter your Full Name, Email Address and mailbox password, then click "Create"
- On the "Incoming Mail Server Info" screen select "IMAP", then enter as below
- After clicking on "Next", ensure your Incoming server port changes to 993 and "Use SSL" is checked.
- Change the Outgoing Mail Server Info to your own information as below
- Make sure your Outgoing server port changes to 465 and "Use SSL" is checked. Authentication set to "Password".
